Just about have to at this point...although it's not a certainty they're operating under kompromat.  Not defend MTG, but one need be pretty friggin' stupid to buy into conspiracy theories.



 Bobert and Gaetz?  Hard to say.... they both strike me as at least somewhat clever, devious and corrupt as #$%^... then again, it's Congressfolk... sooo a bit par for the course.



As for the other 5, let the digging commence.

True.  Of course, that raises the question of whether their answers could be trusted as indicative of foundational intent; they're politicians.  Additionally, there's the obvious question of "Who has fingers in which pies?"; no doubt there are plenty of Congressfolk on both sides of the divide with specific financial interests in voting "nay" on the bill...so why only these 8?

I think the last two words of your sentence answers the question you raised earlier in the sentence!



For me, the bottom line is that unless they're asked, I'm not going to speculate... at least not a lot.  And I sure as hell wouldn't listen to any  media reports about it.  That's the quickest way to determine the truth though... just believe the opposite of what they report.

Just spit ballin' here... But the US joining am effort to protect the Ukraine in armed combat would leave the US open for attacks on its own soil.   Could cause Putin to point nuclear arsenal towards US cities.  Our Commander in Chief is a giant idiot who shouldn't be in control of such a military operation.  Our military is figuring out which gender pronouns to use while their military is a bunch of Dolph Lungren dudes basically...

You're correct.  Sanctions began in September of 1940 and reached a critical point in July of 1941.  By then WWII had been under way for nearly two years.  And Japan and China were fighting considerably earlier.
