So Republicans are calling to help people while Democrats are calling to refuse help. Thanks for clearing that up.

New York City has the largest Ukrainian community in the United States and will continue to take in more than those rusted dust heaps of GOP country that none would want to live in anyways.

Republicans calling to help people would be an oxymoron and a half on roids. They see pawns at most, numbers to score political points or to cancel, not people.

People fleeing Blue states to live in the horrible racist Red ones would disagree. Go ahead, look up the best places to live in the US. It's a nice mix, many of which are Red states. New York is a third world shit hole with trash, living, and non living, thrown out onto the streets, and people pay way to much to live in that filthy town. Perhaps that's why hordes are leaving.

Anyways, New York City is THE Capital of Capitalism, the USA, the Americas, the Western Hemisphere, and Planet Earth. There's a reason why people are willing to pay more to live in the dingiest studio on Jerome Ave than they would in a non-trailer house in a Red State. Just ask the Ukrainians who flock here.

My flyover town is, depending, on which year, in the top three places to live in the US. It's also among the top in education as well. My neighbors...People from up north, many from new York. Average cost of a house: 300,000. Oh, and we have a f**king airport so no need to fly over. When people realize that they can improve their lifestyle just by leaving New York, they regret not doing it sooner. That's their thoughts not mine. Oh, and plenty of red to go around.

We don't consider that cheap. Price is driving the rush as much as anything. Lower taxes, cost of living, etc. The average was much lower years ago, but the demand has caused them to skyrocket in the last few years. Our housing market has skyrocketed since covid, mostly from people coming from other states with cash, running from tryanny and high taxes. They're just cheaper because we grow out, not in, among other reasons.

Raleigh is a college and tech hub. It will eventually be the main one on the east coast if not already.

Putin has been helped more by Biden than any other president in recent memory, unless you count how cowardly Obama acted. Biden is letting Russia negotiate with Iran for us to buy oil from them...wtf? We're actively seeking to buy expensive oil from our enemies, so they can fund terrorist activities and take over countries, none of which happened under the previous admin. When I pump gas, I can't help but think that it is blood money created by Democrats waging a war on the US while supporting, financially, the Russian takeover of Ukraine. At least we sent more than blankets this time...except, that aid was approved under Trump, not Biden. We all remember him threatening to withhold a billion dollars in aid if they didn't stop investigating the company his son worked for. Democrats are Putin's puppets, always have been. Deflecting to Trump, as is the norm for most, doesn't erase the Democrat party policies that made him rich to begin with, and continually do.
