Child abuse is NOT tied to religion. There are probably a higher percentage of atheists, agnostic and non-religious child molesters than there are with religious people. Specifically in religions that teach that child abuse is a sin. Or as Jesus said, it would be better that a millstone were tied around their necks and cast into the sea, then to offend one of these little ones.
That doesn't mean there are no religious child abusers. Islam is a religion that condones child abuse. There are Christians who refuse to follow Jesus and give in to their perversion.
But atheists, agnostics and non-religious people have no moral guidelines to follow. Where as a Christian might stop him or herself because they believe it will adversely affect them in the afterlife, atheists have nothing to stop them. They have no morality except for that which they borrow from the people they despise.

You're the one who fights to defend the killing of human life in the womb and halfway out of the womb. You may even support infanticide just outside of the womb, I don't know. I just know that you place a much, much, much lower value on human life than I do. You believe human life is less valuable than the convenience of the mother.
