If America buying Russian oil is really, actually a concern of yours, you should be happy to know that the Biden administration is considering stopping buying their oil.

If that happens, you can expect the price of oil and gas to go even higher. Then if Putin is able to sell the same oil he was selling to us somewhere else for more money than he was originally selling it to us for, we can have some real fun. I'll see you then. Lol

Then we must lower the taxes.

Unless our GDP increases, lowering taxes means we also have to lower the funding for something else. Welfare, food stamps, the military, etc all of the above.... Most people probably don't want to screw over the poor but most people also don't want to screw over our troops. If we could find legitimate wasted money and eliminate that, it would be cool but what looks like wasted money to some might not be to another.

and how do we increase GDP?

Well GDP involves many things but the most basic way is more jobs. If tax rates are lower but there are a greater number of people working and paying taxes, theoretically the amount of tax revenue could stay the same or even increase.

But.... the last tax cut the repubs passed, they (or at least Trump) were trying to sell it to America by throwing out numbers like 4%, 5% maybe even 6% GDP growth....... Unfortunately the highest it got during that administration was 2.9%.
