Here mine: I remember the ridiculous like libraries putting books in quarantine,  being told to sanitize your groceries. Caution tape on playgrounds padlocked swings. When driving up from Texas we could not even stand on the sidewalk of a restaurant to eat by ourselves. We had no where else to go after sitting in a car for 24 hours. The saddest one was Churches closing when we needed them the most.  Priests barred from giving sacraments to the dying was probably the most heartbreaking

Stupid rule here - people being told to mask up even at home or outside on their own property even though their 'next door neighbor' is 2+ miles down the road.

Yup...their draconian measures will never be forgotten...

Which is probably why my immediate family didn't tell me (I just found out today) that a cousin in Cali died from Covid related complications 2 months ago. Yeah, how's that for media? Guess I missed that episode of Wolf Blitzer.

And what I've been going through since late December doesn't quite exactly slightly in the remotest feel like anything akin to basic cold level I or anyone in the planetary sytem ever had.

But at least I can tell the facility that has keeping my mom since then to release her, the jig is up.
