"We were all here. We saw what happened. It was a violent insurrection for the purpose of trying to prevent the peaceful transfer of power after a legitimately certified election, from one administration to the next. That is what it was." Who said that? The Republican leader in the Senate, Mitch McConnell. McConnell does not make statements like this "out of the blue." He knows that the trials of the "insurrectionists," will run non-stop, starting February 28 and going on through the mid-term elections. These trials will have the potential to convince many moderate Republicans and Independents to shy away from those who support the Tangerine Tyrant.
I have done my best to keep people aware of what happened and who did what. It appears to have had an impact. I will ramp things up, starting next month. The first trial involves one of your heroes who threatened to murder his kids if they turned him in. Defend that by insulting me or President Biden. But you have been told the truth, by one of your own. He is trying to let people know that significant Republicans are going the other way.
