I was a life a long Republican and my wife has always leaned Democrat. But once Trump came along and trashed my party I went Independent. I have a Q:

While I could not agree more that the Republican Party rarely lives up to their promises, as that link shows, Trump did. He "trashed" the Republican Party by making good on his campaign promises, proving that we do not need career politicians to save us from ourselves.

The ONLY place you will find that Trump was awful is in the liberal MSM. You do not sound like an "Independent".
