Yes! This is a good idea. It breaks more than one rule I’m pretty sure. The ToS doesn’t agree with it, I am pretty sure begging isn’t allowed and posting off-topic things in a stream is considered a raid. And raids are not allowed. Upvote begging is looked down upon. So yes, we should.

Begging is not banned on MSMG, nor is it off-topic.

Absolutely every image of the kind is disapproved as "off-topic." Reason for disapproval is always "Wrong stream."

Though the reason I put this here's just the upvote-begging disease. Imgflip is doing nothing to even passively discourage it.

I’m all for getting rid of upvote begging on the fun stream. “Wrong stream” is the reason I give for flagging reposts, and would love it if imgflip made an official upvote begging stream so that people could post it there instead of fun.

But it’s completely allowed on MSMG, no matter how annoying it is.

Of course. We love every form of depravity on MSMG, but it'd be a pity if Imgflip turns into a larger MSMG itself.
