Turnabout is fair play. The left cried for four years that Trump was the second coming of Hitler and was destroying “our democracy.” All I can tell you is that the left and the right see things very differently.

And yet the left and the right seem to act pretty similarly ...

I was taught to be better than that, but I have to admit that the constant and incessant culture war from the left sometimes leaves me justifying doing the same.

One of their most used tactics is to use the general embracing of what is right and good by the Right against them. "If yOu DoN't sUpPoRt xyz, yOu wAnT GraNdMa tO diE!!!", or whatever nonsense association they are using today. And of course, the Left is usually most guilty of that which they accuse the Right of.

Some tactics should never be used, but guilt by association, as in the OP, is more than a good idea. They need to be openly and constantly shamed for the policies and ideologies that they push. It would be very difficult to find a single policy of theirs that is not rooted in evil. They must be defeated.

It has been clear to me for a while now that Biden's actions/policies are irrelevant as far as what the reaction will be here. No matter what the reality of any situation is, he's always "wrong" or "bad", and the sky is always falling... quite similar to the libs 2016-2020. Someone actually submitted a meme here going on about blame Biden and Kamala Harris... Only one thing was missing: the "for what" part. Another pretty clear example was a front page meme right after the drone strike in Afghanistan.

Even the "destroying our democracy" thing you mentioned...... I mean... I had the internet when Obama was president. How much different is "destroying our democracy" vs "destroying our country"? Basically more or less the same sh*t was said about him. It seems to be a cycle. Whoever is president on the other side is destroying the country. (Obama was half black so Hitler comparisons would've been somewhat ridiculous visually... otherwise I wouldn't have been surprised to see that )

As far as the "culture war" I mean on some level I get it. I'm for inclusivity and such but when someone tries to identify as a bug as I've seen in the YouTubes I'm like ok I gotta head out......

Woww...ok my mind is blown. For fun I decided to fact check myself and I guess somehow I missed tons of actual Obama/ Hitler comparisons done by the right.... both in language by prominent politicians and even with visuals by others.... To be fair though it does look pretty ridiculous!!

Blows my mind too. I lived through eight years of him. Never heard or saw Hitler comparisons until you dug some up. I guess anything is possible, but Biden’s been president for almost a year now and I still see folks living in a permanent orange fog comparing Trump to Hitler.
