Example: If the guy that pointed the pistol in Rittenhouse’s face had pulled the trigger, he would have had a just as good a self-defense case for himself, if not better — since Rittenhouse had actually shot others by that point. Frankly that’s what he should have done. Rittenhouse would have been dead and he would have been the one to stand trial and win.
