I can lie about my age to obtain a rifle I shouldn't have, lie about being a paramedic when I've only received the training of lifeguard, open-carry that rifle into a tense situation that ought to be managed by properly trained deputized professionals, provoke an attack on myself by pointing that rifle at people and then actually firing it, kill someone, then shoot at and kill other people who are trying to stop me as an active shooter - all while claiming "self-defense." Perhaps I never formed the specific intention to kill. Perhaps I was merely reckless beyond belief.
Is all that a wise course of action? Something to be emulated and followed by others?
Plainly not. Rittenhouse is not a "hero" under any circumstances.
A criminal course of action, beyond a reasonable doubt? The jury will have to decide.
