"I agree, in fact after speaking many times with Oct melody , I have reviewed my opinions about "liberals" and found that I have many things in common with them"
one of the fundamental aspects about classical liberals, at least i find, is libertarianism and opposition to the oligarchies that have been created by the likes of big oil, big pharma, wall st, etc. uniting against a common enemy is the common thing. i also find both sides to be quite squeamish when it comes to being critical of israel. i've had to desensitize myself somewhat for that, especially since my reasons for disliking israel come down to fiscal policy over foreign policy.
"Stutter and yourmomstoenail were two like that on imgflip, if you know them or aware of them."
i'm aware of both users existing at the very least. as far as i know, ymtn was praising the lincoln project. basically neocons that charade as anti-trump, though he may have been unaware of what they actually are. Stu i know less about; just seen him having back and forths with some of the worse right-leaning users on the site. i pay very little attention to left-leaning users on the site these days, since most of them come from the same types of echochambers formed by m/politics, esp. in the case of politicsTOO. the only one i follow up on every now and again is O_M, since we were pretty much part of a larger collective much earlier on in the site's history.
depending on who you talk to, some might say i could be worse than ymtn, stu, or even manhattan (formerly laonsite) :)
"people don't realize that we have more in common than not if we just spoke calmly and respectfully, but there is no adrenalin rush to come online and simply agree with people"
eyy based comment ^^
gotta admit that even i can't always practice what you say here.. used to be a different story with me back in the day
