The charge they dropped was for him in possession of a short-barreled rifle as an underage person. The age issue here is 16 years old. He was 17 at the time, clearly old enough to possess the rifle. In addition the length of the rifle barrel was longer than the definition of a short-barreled rifle. The prosecution clearly overcharged a crime he could not possibly be guilty of committing. That’s why the judge dropped it. Clearly you’re as ignorant as a rock.

This person claims to be upset about evidence of supposed corruption. But when you show them that the evidence is false they get upset. This means that they don't care about the truth, they WANT to believe a lie.

Somehow I am inclined to believe that the judge knows more about the facts involved in the case and also the law than you do.

Any judicial misconduct in the trial was committed by the prosecutor. He brought up issues during questioning that were disallowed under law. The judge admonished him on this. Potentially, the prosecutor’s conduct could easily allow a successful appeal if Rittenhouse is convicted.

Clearly the media is showing him holding a gun used as a AR15. Rittenhouse will not win in an appeal. The judge better find a new job. Probably will be hiding in Europe after he is removed from the bench.

Bottom line is the judge is right, and you are ignorant.

Nope. The law doesn't say a minor can't possess a gun. It says they can't possess a "dangerous weapon", which includes rifle under 16 inches.

The law as written:

(c) This section applies only to a person under 18 years of age who possesses or is armed with a rifle or a shotgun if the person is in violation of s. 941.28 or is not in compliance with ss. 29.304 and 29.593.

941.28: rifle less than 16 inches.

If finding out justice was served upsets you, then you don't want justice. You are not blind or ignorant, you just live to feel anger.
