And the he did allow them to call the 'victims' looters or arsonists, but only provided they coudl prove those activities took place.

- The punching a girl video was part of a pretrial agreement if I'm not mistaken. The prosecution can't visit Kyle's past crimes and the defense can't muddy the waters with the criminal histories of the 'victims'.

The only potential upside is that if the jury convicts, the defense won't have much grounds for a retrial.
