Yes actually, you see, it is that child's contribution that could affect the entire planet. Maybe that kid that did not got aborted grows up to be a scientist and finds the cure for cancer or aids, or maybe develops spacecraft allowing humanity to colonize other planets, or be a better president for that nation. When you are murdering a child you are destroying that plan set for that human being, you are destroying that future ahead of him/her.
