Purple is a global mod.
Green is a site mod. They can both effect all of imgflip, but global mods have more power than site mods. Or maybe it’s the other way around.

A gray “M” means a stream mod
Green “M” means a community/site mod
Purple “M” means global mod

you can always get an extension for whichever browser you're using, like AdBlock+

They can't remove the ads. the Ads Monitize Imgflip because not enough people use pro.
so if they remove ads then everyone has to use Imgflip pro.
if you wanna get rid of ads use an Ad blocker- or use imgflip pro.

Ads don't mean anything. It's not a real word. Ads don't give you money. Ads are pure evil. If someone puts ads on their site, they. Are. Evil.

I think it would be great if everyone using products online could just pay a tiny fee for the amount of time they use rather than have to be assaulted with ads. Unfortunately the people of the world overwhelmingly have decided they aren't willing to pay for that though, since every company that's attempted it to my knowledge has not succeeded compared to advertisements. People like free stuff, I think it's just that simple.

Ads Monitize the website. The Owner of the Ad will PAY imgflip money to use the ad on there site in hopes of someone seeing the add and using the product.
