I'm not looking for support from either side. They're both doing it wrong. You won't find any dems that like me either. I don't like Biden. I doubt I'll like who runs in either party next. For me it's always been vote for the lesser of two evils because not one politician cares about anything except what he/she can get for themselves. It's never been about "We, the people". A government is set up to protect itself even if that means attacking the very people it's supposed to govern.
What I do have is family and friends that spent their youth, and some gave their lives, over there getting bad cases of PTSD. I'm glad we left. You can only watch your friends getting shot down for nothing before it starts to wear you down.
It is a stress reliever I guess but mostly it's petty crap. I get attacked by both sides. Republicans are more fun. They're ruder and some are dumber but the ones like you, that think for themselves but just disagree...I love that. Nobody agrees with everything. Debate and compromise is always going to be the best way.
In the end, no matter what, we all still have to live together. It just makes sense to keep the violence down. I'm pro whatever keeps the violence down... especially if it involves children. I'm a sucker for kids.
