It seems to be your point is that you can’t trust any media even if it verifies the facts or makes great pains to not invent them.
You’re literally criticizing the media, now, for not inventing falsehoods.
If it were swept under the rug, those news stories would’ve been pulled. That’s what sweeping under the rug meant.
Not to mention that we know that vaccinated people can still carry and infect the virus. That was the conclusion since summer. Which was when the story broke! So, media and scientists had to conclude that even the vaccinated can still infect others.
And you’re bitching about how they should’ve, could’ve, would’ve - with no proof they would. In fact, your entire statement is a contradiction.
