From what I gather, much of that equipment was actually supplied to the Afghan army, so removal wasn't as issue till they suddenly cut and ran. Since the Taliban wasn't trained in the usage and maintanance of the higher tech stuff, many (like the helicopters) are limited in what they can do with them as well as keeping them operational in the long term.

Trump withdrew around 10,000 soldiers and left 2000 there. He didn't take any equipment, from what I've seen. He also left all 11,000 Americans there for Biden to deal with. Considering his promise to the Taliban was to withdraw by May of 2021, I'm curious as to how he would've accomplished all of that in the first five months of this year considering he had most of 2020 to get equipment out and didn't.

Yet did anything happen? Did Taliban take Afghanistan? Answers to both no.

This is the art of the deal? Of course they hadn't taken over yet. We still had 2000 troops there supporting the Afghan army. As soon as we pulled out the Afghans abandoned their posts. So yeah, you all don't just get to sit there and act like Trump had absolutely nothing to do with this. Because that's bullshit and you know it.
