1) There was a miniscule number of fringe people at Charlottesville, and setting aside the question of whether they threatened to kill anyone, they obviously do not represent conservatism in the U.S. However, you're attempting to do just that.

2) Conservatives as "killing themselves en masse" because they do not want to take the vaccine? Do you realize that the survival rate of COVID is close to 100%? And of those, it's really the elderly who are most at risk?

Honestly, COVID probably killed enough conservative voters in swing states to tip the election. Not to turn this into a cynical numbers game, but turning rallies into superspreader events during an election year when your opponent wasn't.... noooooooooot a very good political move.
