I saw footage of the security forces letting them in. Also saw footage of both sides being polite to each other. Some were just taking selfies and some were being violent. I can understand their frustration watching riots for 9 months with nothing done by the cops. Too bad they forgot they weren't burning down some civilians store or car, they were taking it to the government, which never ends well.

BLM is a MOSTLY peaceful movement. However because of the sheer size of their movement, the small percent of riots resulted in the most destructive round of riots in US history. Saying “most are peaceful” is NOT an excuse to ignore the violence. And yeah there were 570 riots out of over 10,000 demonstrations but there were 600 arson incidents and almost 3,000 looting incidents. So the 93% peaceful figure you’re seeing is inaccurate.

Being that he did reject the support, rejected support from a KKK newspaper, and wanted to make KKK labeled a terrorist organization I think he meant it.
