I've watched this term get misused a lot by Democrats lately, so maybe it's time to clarify its meaning for the record:

Imagine the level of confidence you have to have to claim the Republicans are the ones defunding the police. They know their constituents are stupid and they know they can continue getting away with it, so they just do it. Even for something that literally happened a couple months prior.

I also remember the idiots on here claiming they weren't defunding the police, just cutting the unnecessary pork and all the "bad apples." Hell, some of them are still claiming that, since they're too stupid to even understand what's actually going on.

The leaders and elites of the nation's political Left get away with these bald-faced and blatant lies because at least 95% of the nation's media outlets now essentially work for the political interests of the Dem Party.

When you control what has effectively become state propaganda machinery then you do not have to be subtle in your lies. Just fling it out there and then watch your loyal media outlets spin the lie into TRUTH for people conditioned to believe whatever they are told.

Yes . . . and in all honesty conservatives should give credit where credit is due . . . in that the political Left is very VERY good at gaslighting this entire nation and on a routine basis. Of course they are helped along by the mainstream media's determination to back the leftist narrative all the time and to the very hilt.

Its more that everyone is afraid to rebel. Nearly everyone knows it's fake.
