If id's are racist, id's are racist.

But what I'm asking is,....are ids racist?

In general, no. Depending on why a government would want their citizens to be tallied, recorded and carry an ID might be unconstitutional, however.

I have to admit... I had to look up what "forf" meant... my Ebonics is a bit lacking as I was never brought up to speak it.

The definition I found was "an individual who says they're going to do something but doesn't". I'm not sure how I fit that definition... so I could be wrong about the word's meaning.

Just so you know... I was agreeing with you that IDs aren't racist. No... they are inherently not racist.

I admire your resources, however , the reference was to the 4th amendment.
Good form sir

Ahh! Well... that's embarrassing! Hahaha!

I don't think the 4th amendment applies to a conversation about ID cards. At any rate, good meme... upvotes all around!

They can force you to get an ID, but they can't force you to show Id without a warrant.

Technically, no one can FORCE you to get an ID in America. One obtains an ID for the benefits it provides. One so you can drive/vote. One so you can attend college/university. One for civilian employment. One for federal employment. One so you can use the public library. Only your Social Security card with your SSN is issued to you at birth (if you're American)... and even THAT you need to pester the federal government for in some cases. But insofar as IDs go, those are all obtained through choice... though perhaps the vaccine passport, if it becomes a thing, will be the exception. With the hysteria surrounding COVID, I would expect some to push, and push hard, for that to be the case.

The verification part....covid passport

I mean, I suppose you could make the argument... the reference may just come off a bit tenuous. But we 100% agree that excessive ID issuance and thereby being subjected to ever more invasive tracking by our government is... well... excessive... and unreasonable.

The upshot is that with multiple forms of ID available to the public, there is now absolutely no argument against having to show one to prove citizenship to vote... except in CA where they issue a state ID to anyone who walks through their door... RIP.

I'm sick of hearing how everything disadvantages this group or that group. Life sucks. Deal with it.

Seeing as how the black Community has the lowest percentage of vaxxed people. It would seem they won’t be entering bars or restaurants in New York

You realize that's counter-productive, right? Insulting someone and then demanding they do what you tell them to do often yields inverse results.

Let them find their answers and come around... or let them go unvaccinated and bear the consequences. Unless you plan to use violence (I would strongly recommend AGAINST that), attempting to force someone to do something by screeching at them isn't going to do what you hope it will do.

Interesting side note: Did you know that, statistically, the most vaccine compliant individuals have been people with a high school education and lower? Conversely, and surprisingly, the most resistant to obtaining the vaccine seems to be those who hold advanced degrees (4 or more years of college education). Those numbers have obviously improved recently -- smart people are getting out to get the poke -- but it makes you think, right? Not all, or even most, of the folks your addressing are "Q-tards"… you're talking to educators, professionals and even doctors.

how come most people who don't take the vaccine a Trump supporters statistically?

Statistical analysis is nuanced. While what I wrote previously is accurate, it's a single variable analysis... and therefore should be taken with a grain of salt. What you wrote is also accurate... and the same applies. So, if we were doing our due diligence to find out exactly the type of person who is skeptical about getting the vaccine, we'd need to do a multi-varied analysis that asks multiple demographic identifiers of all those who don't want to get their poke over a LARGE sample size and find the commonality between them all.

I don't have that kind of time, so I rely on statisticians for data.

But the bigger argument I made was: it's counterproductive to denigrate those you wish to sway to your side. That sort of approach tends to see people pull back and automictically discount what you have to say immediately... the whole "you catch more flies with honey than vinegar" concept. Focus your efforts on gathering unbiased information and present it respectfully -- although it may be unquestionably aggravating at times especially with certain people -- and you may have better results.
