Polio actually killed and disabled people who weren't already old or sick. Oh and the polio vaccine caused 10's perhaps 100's of thousands to get cancer.

look it up the first 5 years the vaccine was contaminated with a monkey virus which caused cancer in humans . which by the way the CIA later used to weaponize cancer.

Merck researchers, under Maurice Hilleman’s direction, detected a simian virus in the monkey kidney cells used to grow poliovirus for Merck’s polio vaccine. Hilleman later showed that the simian virus, SV40, caused tumors in hamsters. Merck eventually withdrew its polio vaccine from market. By 1963, government screening programs began to look for simian viruses in poliovirus vaccines.

In 1960, the link between viruses and cancer was a new idea. Hilleman urged the U.S. Public Health Service Technical Committee to withdraw all Salk-type polio vaccine (IPV) until the problem could be addressed. Today, polio vaccines are screened for known viruses. Many studies have been done to investigate any adverse effects from SV40 in the early polio vaccines, and none has shown a relationship between SV40 and cancer in humans.

Hilleman’s finding was responsible for a shift away from using monkeys for tissue culture. Researchers would largely use human cells for the next wave of vaccine development.

BTW when they say human cells they mean aborted fetal tissue.

Quote above is from a pro vaxx eb site that obviously cherry picked research studies by pharmaceutical companies (there pro vaxx hence terms like human cells not aborted fetal cells) for evey study that said the virus didn't cause cancer there are probably 3 or 4 that show it did. One study ( I think it was in Dr Mary's monkey referenced above) showed that women who had the polio vaxx before 1962. Where like 5 times more likely to develop breast cancer than those vaxxed with later versions of the vaccine.
If the monkey virus didn't cause cancer why was the CIA so interested in it . Ever heard of "gain of function"? Read the above mentioned book DR Mary's Monkey It not only talks about the vaccine and her murder but also CIA, Lee Harvey Oswald the Kennedy assassination Cuba and other 1950' 1960' History very interesting book

Again see above comment a few studies paid for by pharmaceutical companies magically didn't find a link but it is pretty obvious if more women who took the vaccine 1955 to 1961 got breast cancer than those who didn't than their is at least a likely link. Read DR Mary's monkey and do some dam research yourself if you don't believe it. And ask yourself why was there an explosion of breast cancer starting in the mid 70's. Also why was the CIA so interested in that virus .

To be fair, the mRNA tech has been under development since 2002. The specific use of it for COVID has not.
