If the mods can't approve the memes in a decent amount of time, maybe they need more mods. This is why my memes die in "fun."

Going on 5 hours since I submitted them and still haven't been featured. Yet there are many memes that have been featured a head of mine that took UNDER AN HOUR. Imgflip needs to stop with the favoritism and start featuring the memes in order of submission, not based on the content. This is getting ridiculous and it make Imgflip less enjoyable.

I know, problem is the majority of ImgFlip are socialist redditors who don't give a f**k about who you truly are. 😔

I know that on Sundays, if the MODs have to manually approve a meme, it'll take longer. I have one I submitted to Politics a few hours ago and it still hasn't been approved. If they're automatically approved then they go quick. But all my "fun" memes are taking 10-12 hours and all the dumb kid's memes are being approved in under an hour. So mine are not even seen.

If that's the case, then it was not featured due to a rule being broken or it was in the wrong stream. If they haven't been featured within 24 hours there's a legit reason.

Have a peek around “Leftbook” when you get a chance. There you’ll find Leftists unironically praising Stalin, Mao, Castro, bragging about writing in Kim Jong-Un, etc.

By contrast, your average PoliticsTOO meme either calls Trump an orange or makes fun of Trump supporters for going unmasked or being anti-vax. Pretty moderate satire and common-sensical observations.

I will say we have one admitted communist who comes around the stream every now and then. But we are constantly having to censor his stuff for one reason or another. He is not a very happy camper.

I've had stuff not featured for 14 hours b4, but that was a while ago. Yesterday it took 5 hours for something to be featured. Yeah it definitely affects the upvotes u get. I try to post at specific times to avoid that problem, tho

Oh, I've had memes go for 24 before they get featured. It seems to me there aren't enough "global mods." Either that or they're playing favorites. So many dumb children's memes get featured in under an hour and mine rarely get featured in under 5.

I've already had it. In fact, I was as high as 6 at one point. I was the 7th user to hit 1 million points. 😂 My concern has nothing to do with where I'm at on the leaderboard.

I am constantly checking my approval queues, since I know long delays impact memer satisfaction and could lead to people not submitting in the future.

That said, I have virtually none of my streams on auto-feature, because there are just too many abusive weirdos running around these days for me to feel comfortable not having at least one pair of human eyes reviewing content before it goes live.

Although the mods told me that they would try to approve memes manually when I said the same thing in this stream.

This is exactly why I have to wait till a certain time on weekdays to post in the fun stream smh

I've pushed for seeing an actual date and time in the past, so we could see when the memes were actually created, as opposed to just seeing "1 yr ago."

I quit posting in "fun" and my clicks went way up.
Everything in the fun stream gets buried unless it's linked to an external site like FB or whatever.
