Memes should NOT be featured if they are untrue or encourage violence but it is CENSORSHIP to not post true memes representing facts and actual news.

Memes on imgflip sometimes are rejected as they are "supposedly" transphobic, homophobic, or even labeled as harassment. This is a form of political bias, IMO. It is a slippery slope and we won't like what is awaiting us at the bottom....

Good satire is based upon a grain of truth but usually exaggerated. So, of course, a good satirical meme will not be 100% true (hence it is untrue).

Prime example, in comments a user posted an image of a giant foot smashing down on a church to illustrate churches having to close for covid. One of the liberal trolls that takes everything literally said "liberals aren't smashing churches"

Duh! Of course they weren't smashing churches, but it was good satire. Thankfully, it didn't get pulled but that's where we're heading if we're going to pull things that are "untrue".

Abby, I definitely agree. I wasn't referring to humorous memes. I was focused on news stories and events not satire. Liberals lie and project their "feelings" which often override the "facts". I don't think false news should be featured and would not mind mods removing fake news. I do not enjoy spending time on a meme & then being told that I am transphobic and it won't be featured. Reporting news events involving transsexual or bisexual folks...even though true...are not always approved as they are a 'protected class'.
