Again there is a difference between a flag and a representation. What he is wearing is borderline but it is obviously clothing representing the flag not an actual flag that has flown from the flagpole nor was it meant to. So therefore it is a representation of the flag.

That he throws on the floor of his tour bus at the end of the night. Does it go into the hamper? Great representation.

That sir, is where you are wrong. The flag is not to be printed on ANYTHING DISPOSABLE.

Don’t use the flag for decoration. Use bunting with the blue on top, then white, then red.

It should not be embroidered on such articles as cushions or handkerchiefs and the like, printed or otherwise impressed on paper napkins or boxes or anything that is designed for temporary use and discard

And I never said a 100 flags on a plate. By your definition anything that is red white and blue with stars is illegal, that is not the rule nor the intent. I think your knowledge of 4th of July decoration is limited. Probably because you don’t celebrate it, A flag and a picture of the flag are not the only representations there are.
