Trump did not put the US first, economically. Sure, he repeatedly lied and called his trade war doing just that but all it did was shift the burden onto the farmers. And while I’m sure some farmers found Trump’s trade war more preferable than say green energy and fossil fuel caps…in the end, he just found a new way to screw them over and they’d be turning blue again by 2024. Best thing Biden’s done is ensure they’ll vote red again.
So, we got the farmers! Awesome. We gonna actually help them or keep screwing them over? My bet is the latter.
Biden didn’t fling open the boarders. Read something other than what Tucker Carlson spoon feeds or what busybody regurgitated his tripe. All Biden has done is allow refugees in. As for oil independence and Russia, more bullshit. America can’t stop Russia from building in Germany anymore than it can stop China from taking advantage of the power vacuum in the EU. America First also means we no longer have a say in international dealings so don’t even swallow that crap.
And the Keystone Pipeline, last I heard, putting Americans First was the priority here. Not giving Canada access to our oil. Sure some construction workers lost out but those jobs would’ve also killed hundreds if not thousands of trucker jobs! Not to mention the fact that the landowners had repeatedly stated they wanted nothing to do with it. And in my book, people come first and corporations come fourth or fifth.
Hamas and Israel have been fighting for decades. Probably before you were even born. Every once and awhile, they wave their sabers at each other and thousands die. It is nothing new. Nor is apocalyptic. That doesn’t concern me as much as the economic situation which, so far, is still on track to recovery. I’m not even concerned about the spending. How does the saying go? You got to spend it to make it?
If Republicans could f**k off with their trickle down bullshit, we’d be well off in twelve years no matter who was in office. But I’m sure another Republican with the same old bullshit that even Reagan and Bush Sr. knew were terrible policies is going to be elected soon on lowering taxes (for just the rich). And if the Republican Party dares to try to put that moron back in the Oval Office, the American People will speak louder and more clearer than they did in 2020.
