The pride referred to in the bible is the pride of holding yourself above others, not the type of pride expressed here or in such songs as "Proud to Be an American" by Lee Greenwood.

Romans 14:13
Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother. I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself, but it is unclean for anyone who thinks it unclean

That's a stretch. Pride started because of Stonewall - a police raid on a gay bar because it was illegal to sell alcohol to gay people.

Pride is a celebration of progress made and a refusal to be treated as less.

It's a celebration of love. What can any couple do in bed that another couple can't as well?
