I find "hey Bub" works. Don't navigate the matrix. You can't win.

Right, I think I’ll just use “Hey You with the red shirt.”

Maybe it'll induce strokes and kids can actually learn again, maybe.

In literally every class, group or meeting I've been in, the facilitator never had a problem using the correct pronouns. Interesting.

Why do I care what your pronouns are? You little Lord Fauntleroy enter a room and announce yourselves as if everyone needs to pay attention to you. Talk about attention w**res.

While my example below was obviously ridiculous, where will it end? Like you said, attention seeking with a dash of control freak.

I had a therapist that used they/them pronouns and they were my absolute favorite. I miss them a lot.

Your therapist needed a therapist.

Just saw a story about an interview with Megyn Kelly where she said she pulled her kids from a private school because her kids were being asked every week if they still thought they were boys. Now even once oversteps their bounds, imo. But even exaggeration aside, this is insane. What these kids can't even understand at that age is the parents business, not some teacher/activist

I don't get this pronoun nonsense, as it's missing its own point and it ultimately self-defeating by having people self-segragate into silly inane categories and subsets oblivious to the fact that people aren't pronouns, they're people.

The whole point is to divide everyone into little micro categories and labels. Then make it their entire identity.

My initial reaction when I first heard this genderS nonsense was that it was prank or parody that took off with people taking it seriously which in turn played into the joke.
I still can't get rid of that feeling.
Whether or not that's the case, it's still a distraction and divider, like you pointed out.

Besides, these kids nowadays have no siblings, no friends, not much of family life, so they need something to fill that void from not belonging.

Social acceptance, despite the cries, is the big draw. I wouldn't be surprised if they have coming out parties in schools.

Probably start giving out plaques memorialzing their whateverness for graduation, which will be yearly for every class, natch.

In each of these settings, we make introductions when necessary and say our name, pronouns, and whatever question that is going around. I find it strikingly obvious that this is necessary because I have been in groups where somebody uses she/they pronouns or they/them pronouns because they are trans or non-binary. It's all about inclusivity and acceptance, by respecting another person's gender identity, which, I know makes you tremble inside.

I don’t have to buy into your fantasy life. Your not an avatar. You can be a woman playing you are a man if you want, but science says your male or female. Why do I care what your gender is if I’m not looking for a date?

Maybe in a few years they'll expect to stick their tongue up your ass as a form of greeting. Gee, better bend over to be INCLUSIVE. They already have you talking like an absolute moron.
