There was not much media interest in publicizing the shooter because:

#1. He was not a Racist White Supremacist Republican Trump Supporter

#2. He was just a Person of Color who no doubt was suffering from the effects of Systemic Racism. He meant to shoot his brother, but missed him, hitting three innocent bystanders.

His brother actually turned him in, evidently not willing to turn the other cheek when gunfire is involved.
