masks aren't intended to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. all they can do is lower the risk. think of them like condoms. they're not 100% effective, but would you skip them for that reasons?

why do you say having covid is better protection than getting the vaccine? they both raise antibodies, but there's a 1.75% chance of death with covid (for the general US population).

"or else" just makes a more concise and direct meme. The meaning from what he did say is not changed. Leftists all over the country have been locking people up in jail for not wearing masks. Biden is just another control freak leftist. What is scary is that there is no law anywhere requiring a mask to be worn. The left has no right to put those people in jail because they haven't violated a law. All the violated was a decree from some Marxist dictator in a heavily blue state or city.

okay, he didn't make it an Executive Order, and no, he didn't add "you bone-headed Nimrods!" but we can infer from his directness and conciseness that he's pissed at somebody.

it looks like you're right, though, about ne'er-do-wells getting jailed for not following state or local mask mandates in cities and states that have decided to be responsible about controlling the virus. it looks like you're wrong, though, about no laws being violated. Executive Orders from a state Governor are in effect laws within such states. cities certainly have authority to set laws within their limits as long as they don't contravene state or federal laws.

Only a low IQ, greedy, self-aggrandizing fascist would opt for jailing people - mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, and whatchamcallits - over a virus with a less than 1% mortality rate.

On another note, the above statement exemplifies who the leftists are these days; they'll force you to wear a mask over a virus with a 99%+ survival rate, but if we ask them to wear a condom so they don't have to abort a child, all of the sudden they are "pro-choice."
