Hold up dude...the CDC has held for a year now that masks are more effective at protecting others (source control) than yourself (filtration protection) That graph seems to indicate the opposite.

No, the graph backs up the CDC as far as I know. The right portion is about coughing which is a more forceful activity than merely exhaling - that might be why it seems to indicate more leakage than you’d expect

Perhaps. I don't know where the graph got its info so I can't really speak to its veracity. I just know the theme this entire time has been that masks are more for others' sake than oneself.

That said...people should cough into their elbows anyways, so in an ideal world it'd not be an issue. *sighs* Sadly, that's not the world in which we live.
