The immigration laws in this country, starting with the Naturalization Act of 1790, where meant to keep America a white country, a country of "free white persons of good character". And as the Declaration of Independence stated, to "secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity" (only in a post rational Leftist America would anyone doubt what "posterity" means). All immigration laws up until the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, were designed to keep America a majority white nation. True multiculturalism in America started only after 1965; because before that, even though there was always differences of religions and such, they were for the most part, Christian differences (and only ethnic hatreds between Europeans), and not an entirely different culture (say Islam) coming from a different part of the world. People either lie about this fact, and act like America was always supposed to be a "melting pot", or simply say this from ignorance; but it's simply not true, unless you want to call the mixing of different European stocks a real mixing pot. I personally love different cultures and peoples, and don't necessarily have a problem with multiculturalism. However, with the Left and politicians constantly race baiting all the time, I'm starting to wonder if this whole thing will not work out well in the end. Leave it to politicians to f*ck it up.
