If you ever wondered why the FDA does not have an approved treatment protocol for COVID.

I took it; it works!

You took it for SARS or COVID 19?

Yes. Diagnosed positive with rapid test on a Thursday. Had body aches, fatigue, fever and chills. Began HCQ, Ivermectin, zinc GLUCONATE, antibiotic and 5,000 i.u. Vit D on Friday night. Woke up Tuesday morning feeling 100% better.

So you took it for COVID 19, not SARS.

The study is from 2005 and is about SARS-COV (SARS) not SARS-COV-2 (COVID 19). I was just wondering if you were saying it had worked for you back then to treat the disease from the article, or was working for you now on a different disease. You've answered that question. Thank you.

Not much difference between the two coronaviruses

https://www.news-medical.net/health/How-does-SARS-CoV-2-Compare-to-SARS-CoV.aspx

They are both coronaviruses (86.85% similarity in genome) and they have similarities in transmission and survival time on surfaces, but the symptoms, severity, and incubation times are different. "SARS-CoV-2 is less likely to be fatal than SARS-CoV. However, SARS-CoV-2 is more easily spread." SARS had a case fatality rate of 9.6%, and COVID 19 is around 1.9% in the US.

Though 86% similar in genome, you should bear in mind that humans are 85% genetically similar to mice and 60% similar to bananas, chickens, and a cows.

THANK YOU.

I believe both have the same spike proteins, which is interrupted by HCQ/zinc.

UH YES PLENTY DIFFERENCE. My god.... you conservatives are now acting like uninformed paranoid libtards. GET INFORMED. F**k.

Except that they're different coronaviruses. Why didn't Trump take HCQ if it's so great? MAYBE because it's giving people heart attacks. Why aren't there recent studies? Because they had to stop the trials because it was causing cardiac irregularities in the subjects. I'm not saying we shouldn't use all the possibilities. But I noticed he stopped talking about it when he caught the corona. There might be a good reason for that.

The treatment protocol works best at beginning of symptoms before the viral load gets big. HCQ has been prescribed off label for decades with no problems and or monitoring a patient. The only contra indication I am aware of is if someone has pre-existing heart arrhythmias, HCQ can trigger an arrhythmia.I had absolutely no issues.

I'm no doctor, but there is correlation and causation. So you took it and had a fast recovery - some people do recover fast anyway, so only by looking at and comparing clinical trial style can we know how much of that is placebo, natural recovery, or a drug doing its job.

https://www.nih.gov/news-events/nih-research-matters/hydroxychloroquine-doesnt-benefit-hospitalized-covid-19-patients

There's also this: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/who-strongly-against-hydroxychloroquine-use-for-covid-19-prevention#Dangers-outweigh-potential-health-benefits

But politics aside, I'm happy for your quick recovery. A few people I've worked with had it and the taste issues faded for one in a few weeks. The other it took months. So, if you had that symptom, I hope it doesn't take too long.

Luckily our doctors prescribe it along with maybe 3 or 4 other things.
My pills were some kind of anti-malaria thing and my symptoms went away pretty much over night. I gave the rest to my co-worker and same result.

Other side of town people just suffer for a couple weeks or end up in an ambulance because they're all 'by the book' over there
I.e/ vaccine, respirator or dead

cocid-19?

hydrochloroquine and remdesivir ARE approved emergency treatment for wuhan plague. But they are NOT vaccines and does nothing in prevention. Also, they were not further researched or developed.

Not everything is political. Conservative acting like libtards right now on this. You're losing your independent support.

All I've got to do is avoid Federal buildings for the next four years.

Shouldn't be too difficult. I wear a mask whenever I go skiing, have been doing so my whole life...wearing one a few extra times ain't gonna hurt me.

I've no issues with vaccines, but am somewhat concerned that Fauci in particular wants to be seen as this, "Vaccine Jesus" who goes down in history for bold and decisive leadership. Nothing wrong with that, unless in doing so he's sidelining treatments that genuinely do work.

The FDA only approves medicine that takes a very long time to cure one's diseases but not those medicine that cure someone in a short time.
Why?
Because it's part of business.

Research from 2005 shows HCQ inhibits coronavirus SARS, which is COV-1, nearly identical to SARS Cov-2 (covid-19)

Fauci has been lying through his teeth!

Despite progress on early ambulatory, multidrug-therapy for high-risk patients, resulting in 85% reductions in COVID-19 hospitalization and death [1], the current paradigm for control is mass-vaccination.
