So what was he supposed to do when he had about the same information that we all had around that time? Here's the problem. It is that HCQ is "not safe" or not effective. The meme says "not safe" and that is a load of hogwash. It has been available for 70 years in the US. It is used to treat arthritis. I know this because my sister has been taking it everyday for years. She's never suffered any side effects. Several countries sell it over the counter.

If it not effective then that is a different argument.

On top of that doctors who have treating COVID-19 patients with HCQ use HCQ in combination with other drugs. It the combination of drugs that has been showing a great deal of success.

So while HCQ is less effective by itself it is safe for the vast majority of people. Of course there will always be a very small percentage who are allergic to it just like any other drug.

So where ever you got this text they worded it very poorly if they were serious. I'm guessing that they intentionally worded it that way because it is scarier to say a drug is not safe.

HCQ is a very inexpensive treatment that is about as effective as the vaccine. The problem is that big Pharma and the government can't get rich by selling HCQ.
