Funny how there are no lefties who actually thought that maybe Bernie Sanders was a better man for the job.

Actually Bernie had more Democrat support than Bumbling Biden, but the party rigged the primary process against Bernie.

I guess it goes to show that when you rig the election it doesn't matter what the rest of the party thinks.

I'd be disappointed if I was a Democrat

That was 2016.

Most of the Bernie Supporters who wanted an anti-establishment President already got what they wanted in 2016.

Biden won the popular vote in the 2020 primaries in a major landslide.

Bernie only got nine out of thirteen million voters than last time and Biden got about two million more votes than Hillary’s sixteen in 2016.

Not to mention between the Covid-19 crisis and not wanting a repeat of the 2016 DNC, all the remaining contenders overwhelmingly agreed that Biden was the best choice and heavily endorsed him. It was very important for Democrats to show unity this time.

It worked.

Biden got other Dems support. He was not even a front runner in the first 2 or 3 primaries.

Yeah, the moderates kind of all backed Biden because they knew electing a self-proclaimed socialist would be just what the Republicans wanted.

Of course, Republicans still claimed Biden to be a socialist. Or easily manipulated by them.

Which happened.
