Kaepernick Kneel VS. Chauvin Kneel

I legit don't get why people got angry over Kaepernick kneeling.

Because his “protest” was insulting America by saying we are a fundamentally cruel and unjust people. Because he was gifted with an incredibly privileged life, and in ingratitude spit in the face of people who so blessed him.

I understand now.

So, you are saying you don't understand - you are incapable of understanding and lack the empathy to understand - that Kaepernick was kneeling to the national anthem? The same national anthem that soldiers, families of soldiers and fallen soldiers alike, families of police, firemen, presidents killed doing their duty for a country they believed in, the country represented to them by the flag and that national anthem. If you are saying that, I hope I've shed a little light on the reason so many people are upset.

I don't lack empathy now that I understand. I'm not from America so I'm not as familiar. Thanks for telling me tho.
