I got it only because I’m going to Texas and Oklahoma in the summer to help out my Grandpa.
They asked me to get the vaccine.

My mom, her fiancé, my grandparents, my aunt and uncle, pretty much everyone I know. I haven’t gotten it because I am under 20 and have no health conditions that would make me sick. I don’t want to take a vaccine that could save someone’s life
My grandparents got months ago, when they started giving them to seniors, and they are perfectly healthy, still alive and normal as ever.

I don’t think the vaccine is dangerous, it is normal to have mild symptoms of a virus after getting a vaccine. Plus, my grandparents and my mom where among the very first to get it (my mom is a healthcare provider) and they are perfectly fine.
My grandparents where actually in the first 500 non-healthcare providers to get a vaccine. They happened to live close to the first place in the entire US to offer it to seniors, and they went the first day.

My grandparents weren't able to get it in NY for a bit, but now they're fine.
I did get the vaccine, even though I am under 20, because I'm hoping to help with herd immunity. The first shot hurt like the Tetnus shot, because it goes into the muscle.
I also never get the flu vaccine but that's just because I've noticed people get it more when they have the vaccine than when they don't. But in the papers they handed out when I got my shot, it said it doesn't actually have the virus in it, like other vaccines.
Everyone has their own comfort level with what the media and word of mouth means.
I made this post to see if people believed facts or opinions.
