He DIDN'T take it seriously enough and you all know this. Calling it a hoax in March meanwhile admitting to a reporter that it was 5 times worse than the flu in February. As usual, Drumpf was pursuing his own agenda to the detriment of everyone around him and we all had to pay the price for his inaction.

His ban wasn't really a ban if you consider 40,000 people were allowed to re-enter the US from there.

I never said it was effective (would have liked a full border seal myself). The point is that he was called xenophobic by the Democrats for taking action when they were saying COVID was no threat. Now the sides have switched. Funny how that works.

Meh, I never thought his ban in and of itself made him racist. He's done plenty of other stuff to prove that. But the fact remains that downplaying the pandemic, which he definitely did, did a huge disservice to Americans overall. China, too, shouldn't have tried so hard to "save face." Just a series of missteps by both country's leaders, IMO.

You’re not wrong, but you’re not giving him credit for plenty of proactive steps taken at the Federal level to combat the outbreak or really pointing out the identical missteps made by powerful figures on the left as I originally noted.

At least Harris went to law school and became an attorney, working her way up as Deputy DA before Brown's appointments. Melanie literally slept her way to the top - literally. She had the smallest of jobs at the WH, decorating for Christmas, and complained about having to do even that. Not to mention, Harris is going to be a kick-ass VP and everyone knows this. She was the most qualified and deserves her place.
