Recommendation: don't get a tattoo, just in case.
Like, don't get me wrong, love CAN last forever and it can be amazing, but permanently engraving something on your body that isn't a concrete representation of who you, yourself, are, may be cause for future regret.
This is coming from someone who hasn't been through heartbreak and has been in a stable relationship for a year. Trust me, don't get a tattoo, especially this early in a relationship and your life in general.
...oh, and wait to actually marry someone til you're at least 25 so your neurochemistry has a chance to settle. Dating and a relationship, hands down, that's fine, but wait til your brain stops wigging out before making a lifelong commitment...
Now, I know, I'm not your Dad, but still. I'm just trying to give some advice. I'm doing the same thing.
Hope this helps.
