The Police Chief that testified pretty much put the nail in the coffin- excessive force, not in the manual, too long on his neck-- bye bye Derek. Hope you love prison food with the Qanon Shaman!

Derek Chauvin violated policy, 100%. Minneapolis PD said it at the time, multiple other PDs around the country said it at the time, and the Minneapolis PD is saying it again under oath this time.

All that remains to be seen is if the jury buys the toxicology defense.

So, it's a given in your mind that this cop actually killed this criminal. Never mind that he tried to pass a counterfeit bank note, resisted arrest, and was deeply under the influence of a drug KNOWN to cause respiratory problems.
The only reason that the Minneapolis officials are "testifying" is beacsur they are deathly afraid of what the mob WILL DO when he is exonerated.
Hell, even if he is convicted, the mob WILL riot and b,l & m and you and the LSM will say that they are "peaceful protests".

The police are testifying voluntarily or they are under a subpoena and not doing so would make them in contempt of court. “The mob” has nothing to do with it.

It’s a given Chauvin killed Floyd because the footage (multiple camera angles, both from body cam and bystanders) is not in dispute and the timeline is obvious.

9.5 minutes on the neck: next moment, on a stretcher, in an ambulance, and dead.

It’s possible Floyd would have survived the encounter were he not on drugs that have a tendency to suppress the respiratory system. Or he may have died anyway.

It’s also possible Floyd would have survived the encounter if he were white, or a woman, or both, because then he likely would not have been rough-handled in this way.

All we know is the facts and the facts point inexorably toward Chauvin’s guilt at some level. Murder 2nd or manslaughter.

when do counterfeiters or someone on drugs get the death penalty by a cop, in the street- that is a white collar crime- a few months in a prison resort.
If this was a white man, joking, they never would have done that to a white man. Your racism is showing- better tuck in that white robe and hat.

I never said that, you boob.

The funny thing is, they'll get a riot either way. Police will be targeted either way. Preparations are already being made for retaliation - last week an audience member was arrested taking photos of jurors - presumably to harass or intimidate them.

If Chauvin is convicted, they'll feel justified to riot - and if he's acquitted they'll feel cheated, and they'll riot.

If he is a lamb to slaughter, then so be it. Sacrifice away...

It ok guys and gals, you can still back the blue and listen to the witnesses and think Chauvin is guilty, as CROOKED cops exists.

States witness Lester Hall is refusing to testify, even though he was an eyewitness. Why, you ask? Because it came out that Hall was Floyd's drug dealer, and it was implied that they had just completed a transaction. That theory is backed up by the toxicology report.

He would have incriminated himself. You know, the 5th amendment protection that trumpy the clown took during his impeachment. It is a valid strategy, is it not?

Oh, I'm aware of why he didn't want to testify after it became known that he was a drug dealer. It would have done irreparable harm to the prosecution's argument that Floyd didn't die of a drug overdose by adding legitimacy to the toxicology report.

There's no way the prosecution didn't know he was a drug dealer, which begs the question - why are they using known criminals to railroad a police officer over a drug overdose by a drug addict? The answer is obvious - they're afraid of the political consequences if they don't successfully throw Chauvin under the bus.

And that's the really ironic part about this whole thing. It doesn't matter what they do - they're getting a riot when the trial is over.....win or lose.

The defense is going to get their chance to provide evidence for a drug overdose. It still makes chauvin guilty as he did nothing for a man that was experiencing a medical condition, that was in his control. His captive, his responsiblity.

AHAHAHHAHAH - this just out. Lester Hall's lawyer stated that Hall would not be testifying because that testimony could be used in the 3rd degree murder charge he's facing FOR GEORGE FLOYD'S DEATH!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

It sure seems like the prosecution is hedging their bets. Someone will go down for Floyd, Chauvin - Hall....it doesn't seem like they much care.

I don't care. The 5th is there for that reason.
0 ups, 4y
You don't find it ironic that they're charging Hall with the same crime as Chauvin? All the while preparing him to testify and offering no immunity (indicating that they believe conviction is likely)
1 up, 4y,

That's easy to defend against - Chauvin isn't a medical professional, and is not qualified to make any medical diagnosis. You're arguing that Chauvin should have known all medical conditions before arresting Floyd.

"Excuse me sir, before I arrest you for passing a counterfeit bill (a federal crime) - I'd like to do a tox screen and a physical"

Please....next criminals will demand psychological evaluation prior to arrest so their delicate feelz aren't injured by the trauma of being singled out as piece of shit in public.

Nobody's making that stupid argument. The arrest wasn't the problem. The out-of-control cop was the problem.
0 ups, 4y
HvyLedMark made that stupid argument. Chauvin seemed pretty in control to me. Now, I might be inclined to side with you if he had been yelling "DIE MF'ER" - but he wasn't, he was holding Floyd in place because Floyd refused (or was too f'ed up) to follow commands.
1 up, 4y
Actually it was the meth and fentanyl cocktail that he was on. One is speed, the other an anesthetic. Only an an idiot would take a combination of those two drugs at the same time!!! George Floyd died because he was an idiot. The only reason people like you care is because it helps your anti-white agenda.
