yeaaaahhhhh...guns are legal in America and have been since 1789, I believe.

Point being, quite well stated IMHO, is that prohibition doesn't work. Doesn't matter if it's alcohol, weed, or guns people that don't care what the law is will find a way to have those items.

In the case of guns, if a person is willing to break the law to possess an illegal firearm then they're also willing to use that gun to commit subsequent crimes (murder, armed robbery, etc.).

Depends on the gun and the state. Not all guns are legal in commie states like California and New York. Some guns are only legal with special requirement otherwise they are illegal.
