Why have any rules whatsoever then? Why not just let our country be a free for all? People still drive fast so f*ck speed limits. Make all the traffic lights green. It sounds like you also want to defund the police then...? Because if we have no laws then what good are they?

Interesting counterpoint, but a few things. First, there are already gun laws in the U.S. It's not a "free for all" by any means. Second, gun ownership is a *good* thing. In fact, it was considered so good that it was enshrined in the Second Amendment of our Constitution. Third, no one has claimed "abolish all the laws!" Governments should be hesitant to add new laws to the books, yes, but this is quite different from claiming that laws should not exist.

Driving isn't a right guaranteed by the Constitution, genius.

Including tens of millions of AR-15s. The measures needed to ban and confiscate those would be a bloodbath with casualties on both sides, worse than 100,000 Parklands, Newtowns or Columbines.
