Interesting counterpoint, but a few things. First, there are already gun laws in the U.S. It's not a "free for all" by any means. Second, gun ownership is a *good* thing. In fact, it was considered so good that it was enshrined in the Second Amendment of our Constitution. Third, no one has claimed "abolish all the laws!" Governments should be hesitant to add new laws to the books, yes, but this is quite different from claiming that laws should not exist.
