Gun Safety Rule 1 !

All of my guns were lost in a tragic boating accident. I took them all across the lake to show them to a friend and a rogue wave destroyed my boat. They sunk to the bottom never to be seen again. Tragic.

The same thing happened to me. I wonder if it was the same lake? I'll bet that if they ever drained that lake they'd find a ton of guns. :-D

I think pretty much every lake in America will be chock-full of guns. I don’t know why we obsess about boating with our guns because this always happens.

Also I see no ranks on these women or insigna so there is no indication they are in the military. I wear Camo to hunt deer. I was a military officer but my Camo did not indicate nothing. .

so new army regs allow tattoos above the wrist and none of these women wear anything showing they are in any military. I wore camo to hunt before I was in the military. I wear camo now even though I am not in.

There are two types of people in this country. The first type of people are those like you who see a school shooting and the first thought is "gee, if only the government took everybody's guns, this wouldn't have happened."

The second type of people are those like me who believe in the Constitution and the second amendment and the right everyone has to defend themselves from tyranny. We see a school shooting and think "gee, if only we armed the school staff and trained them to shoot guns properly, they could have saved dozens of children by dropping that son of a bitch from the beginning."

They aren’t illegal, they are tightly regulated by the NFA and prohibitively expensive. You can’t own one unless you pay $250 and wait a year for a tax stamp. I wanted a suppressor for a certain AR, which is an NFA item, so I applied for a tax stamp. Last I heard the turnaround is about 9 months so I should hear about it pretty soon.

A license requirement doesn’t make them illegal. But you don’t need a special license to own an M-60. You just need a tax stamp which requires a prolonged waiting period and an extensive background check. And maybe $100k for the M-60.

I will agree with you completely on that. I’ll add that suppressors, i.e. “silencers” are also NFA items, yet one hasn’t been used in a crime for a very long time. Lots of things about the NFA makes little sense.
