How about let Market determine your value and not impose a restriction on the employer to how much they have to pay you? If they pay you too little then you don't take the job and go find another that pays you what you want, that will force the employer to pay more.

But illegals does not matter with a remote economy, jobs are going to India, a huge amount of companies are currently doing, like Microsoft, call their tech support and see. If we do not drop the minimum wage out of the picture we are lost. Oh India jobs are not just for liw wage or minimum wage jobs, they also taking over the high paying leadership and development jobs. If we are to compete we need to lower the wages in America, that simple.

Yes, lower the wage, will force cost ofiving to deasticly drop. The biggest cause of inflation in USA is raising minimum wage. Raise minimum wage cost of living goes up, dollar's purchasing power goes down.

That won’t cure the competitiveness issue you refer too. We won’t be able to lower our standard of living to that of India. Though the Dems and business are trying hard. They want to remove the burden of healthcare in the US from the employer and lower the standard of living so they can fully exploit the United States and rape her wealth.
