As far as dying a free man, my concern is not catching it and/or dying from it myself (although I'm sure it would definitely suck)..... My main concern is catching it somewhere and then spreading it to my loved ones who might get sick and/or die.

masks take 2 seconds to put on, they can be easy to breathe in and while you are doing pretty much nothing, you are saving your neighbors. we have a vaccine out and we are at the home stretch of covid. dont start another 2 years of lockdowns and hating science. this was a big test for humanity, who is stubborn and selfish, and who is willing to do very little and help others.

not exactly, it is proven by trusted scientists that masks do a justice in slowing the spread of covid 19. do some research outside of fox news and facebook rants and you will find that masks work. no, they do not work 100%, but that is not a reason to not wear it. it is harder to spread covid 19 while wearing a mask than not. when covid is gone, we can return to our normal lives. there may be people that wear masks after that, and that is fine. we just need to do a small service now to help later. how has austrailia eliminated all/most covid cases? through social distancing, lockdowns, and mask wearing. now they can go out mask free because there is nothing to worry about. do a lot of other countries deny masks because freedom? is it a patriotic act to not wear a mask in your mind? how come we have the most cases in the world right now, and if it is due to the amount of people here, why doesn't india or china have more cases? its because of the little regulations and opening everything up like texas and florida.

That's where you are SO wrong! As I like to say: "it's not about the mask, it's about the MANDATE!" If you want to wear a dirty rag on your face, go ahead. Wear it 24hrs. a day if you like- knock yourself out! I would never want to take away your right to do so. But when Government steps in and demands that I follow your stupidity, well that's when we have a problem. Imagine if you can, a different world where we had an honest news media, and President Trump got his due credit- ( I know it's a stretch, but stay with me here)... also imagine if the cult of mask wearing was perceived as an endorsement of Trumpism or Conservatism. The mainstream Left would have NEVER accepted it! They would have all died first!- now you might start to understand.
