Such ignorance. Viruses were always named after the location they were found to originate from. So China Virus or Wuhan Virus would be accurate. Its a scientific convention.
Pretty sure you should do some research. It turns out that Asians and Chinese Americans are much more compliant to government 'suggestions' and will shut down their restaurants at the slightest request.
I'm pretty sure that attacks on everyone have skyrocketed due to the frustration of the shutdown, masking, and social distancing is causing. Care to look it up?

MiniAppleIs, go back to MinuteSoda and leave Trump alone. If the Spanish Flu happened now instead of COVID-19, would it still be called the Spanish Flu? Yes. Would Spanish and Hispanic people in America get persecuted for it? Highly unlikely. When using the term "China Virus", Trump is stating that the virus came from China, not that Chinese people in the U.S. are the cause. Go ahead and believe everything the fascist alt-left tells you. We won't judge you for your beliefs.

Trump did more than give it a name. He said it in a way intended to rile people up against China and, by extension, Asian-Americans. Because that's just the kind of person he is, he gets a sordid kuck out of turning people against each other. Why do you idolize him so much?

OK, first off, I do NOT idolize Trump. I am simply saying he is getting more hate than he deserves. He is NOT that kind of person. He is guilty of many bad things, and I disagree with much of his agenda. But that does not mean I can condone people attacking him for doing things that he did not do.

Thank you! The meme is so accurate and I totally agree. Trump didn't create the virus and didn't have enough time to respond properly. And yet he gets the blame for China's irresponsibility. I should let everyone know, however, that I am leaving the politics thread on Imgflip to avoid getting mentally triggered myself. I unfollowed it and won't post any more memes here. But I really hope liberals get the message. I don't think liberals are bad people or even stupid. A lot of them just fail to listen to all the facts and most of the facts they do find are from left-biased sources.

In addition, many of the news articles I have found on the Internet regarding this come from left-biased news sources (honestly, using a news source clearly biased toward either side to define your beliefs and opinions is not good). I would strongly advise you look at impartial research before accepting bias as fact. And, as Lokiare said, crimes against ALL races, not just Asians or blacks, have increased significantly since the onset of the pandemic. I can't find any unbiased sources or non-opinion articles agreeing with you (Washington Post, CNN, I could go on and on but the list is extremely endless), but I can't find unbiased facts that support what I want to believe either so I'm going off simple and undeniable facts. Try it sometime, you MinuteSodan sheeple. Look at known facts that can't be affected by bias at all before you go on making blind assumptions.
