I hope gas DOES double in price. Cheap gas is America's enemy.

Communism’s friend. Getting to work will take all you have. No money for anything but survival. Keeps the man down, and reduces Revolution when the peasants have no resources with which to revolt.

Fact! Yesterday, 2-26-2021 was the first time in 3 years I paid over 40 dollars for a 18 gallon tank of gas! Thanks Biden Idiots! I paid as little as 99 cents in last 3 years. Yesterday was 2.42!

It's at $2.79 here. That's about $1 per month increase with Biden. That puts us at about $50 per gallon by the time the next election rolls around.

I know. That's how sarcasm works. However, the $1 per month so far is close to accurate.

Pushing $3 here. Most Biden voters will continue to deny they were stupid to vote for him as he destroys America. The problem is there are 75 million Americans who voted the other way who will be forced to suffer the affects of their stupidity.

There is no more or no less oil flowing now compared to when trump was in office. The cancellation of Keystone changed nothing as far as that.... However there has definitely been a major increase in the amount of BDS flowing.

I did and this is what I found.

“A new study that examined electric vehicles, including e-bikes, in China found that EVs were not necessarily cleaner in terms of particulate emissions and their health effects, but rather the source of pollution was just offset from the urban centers to the areas where the power plants are located.”

yeah, you're citing China, where 75% of their power comes from coal. this is America.

57.7% comes from coal. Get your facts straight before you hate.

From the China Daily, “China to cap coal consumption at 4.1 billion tons by 2020,” January 18, 2017; Reuters, “Coal's share of China energy mix falls to 57.7% in 2019 - stats bureau,” February 27, 2020; China's National Bureau of Statistics, “Statistical Communiqué of the People's Republic of China”

not in the states that have the most EVs.

The power grid covers many states and combines energy from many sources. You can’t charge your EV on clean energy sources only.

in many states you can. WA, OR, CA, AZ, NY there are often time periods where it's mostly renewable energy on those grids. For example CA 9am-3pm, in between the AM and PM peaks the grid is not heavily used and it's mostly solar.

Is that fact or just speculation? Just want to see a source for this info.
I live in One of those states and haven’t seen or heard anything about being able to select the source of energy I use by time of day.
