So, pray tell, what authority does he have as a sole senator to fix it?

He uses twitter for everything else. Get on the horn and rally some help. Start lobbying for assistance, and planning on distribution points for receiving emergency food and water....is a good start. Oh I guess we have zoom know.

Get with it. Just keep bending over for them...keep defending it.

They don't have phones or internet in Mexico?

But I hear you. All politicians are elitists at heart, laughing silently at the plebs, despite fighting the odd good fight at times.

Apparently you don’t get it. He has no authority to do anything. The governor had already asked the president to declare an emergency. There’s nothing for Ted Cruz to do. In addition the house and senate are on recess until February 22.

He’s not even in his office!

What ever...defeatism. great attitude. Why not have the same attitude about everything else when all is lost, and there is nothing left to do?

It's an optics thing...I dont care if you defend or not. You are not the first one I have seen saying (as your shoulder shrugs) "what could he have done?"

We will wait...and see if Texas cares how he handled it. Oh, That's right, you have to walk that line and vote red regardless, or THEY win. Keep bending over for it.

The media is not heaping praise upon what Biden has done to fix the situation, because the situation is not fixed. All they do do is pile on Ted Cruz when he has nothing to do with anything.

Seriously, man, a good leader trains his own replacement, no one is indispensable.

Another failure of Texas leadership.

Which is exactly what Senator John Cornyn did. Why didn't Cruz?

He's a Texas leader. A lot of people claim Cruz is smart. If he's so smart, why wasn't he shouting a warning to Senator Cornyn, Governor Abbott and other Texas leaders? Do you understand "Silence is Consent"? Senator Cornyn stayed in Texas to help Texans. Cruz ran off to Mexico.

As a senator, he has no authority to do a whole heck of a lot about the situation. What part of that don’t you understand? Do you need an explanation?

He's a leader of Texas citizens. He has responsibilities to his constituents. What part of that don't you understand?
